ANTHONY LEYDET
Scuba diver
Our Friend and Fellow Ocean Enthusiast
Meet someone who continues to inspire us with his profound love for the sea and its creatures. His journey began in 2003 while studying marine biology in Marseille, in the south of France — and since that first dive, he’s logged over 800 more, nearly all with a camera in hand.
The ocean is his element. Inspired from a young age by Jacques Cousteau’s documentaries, he now captures the magic of the underwater world through photography, revealing its beauty to the rest of us.
One of his most unforgettable dives took place in the Tubbataha Reefs, Philippines, in 2019 — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most protected marine areas in the world. Open to divers for just three months a year, it offered a glimpse of what coral reefs should be: teeming with life, juvenile fish, and patrolling sharks.
We’re proud to call him a friend — and honored to share his lens on the wonders beneath the waves.
