An Invitation to Dance
The collaboration began serendipitously. Fred Bekher, founder of Horizon Watches, was captivated by Selten’s M1 Moonphase collection, particularly its mesmerizing CNC guilloché mother-of-pearl dials. Inspired, he reached out to Selten’s founder, Leonardo Tsai, proposing a creative fusion between both brands’ strengths — a proposal that was immediately welcomed.

“I love the idea of collaborating with a fellow microbrand,” said Leonardo Tsai, founder of Selten. “Fred’s Horizon Nemo collection felt like the perfect canvas for our unique dials — it was a natural fit.”
Two striking colorways were chosen: a refined black representing Selten’s dressy elegance, and a vibrant teal evoking the spirit of underwater exploration that defines the Nemo series. Each version is limited to just 50 pieces worldwide. Delivery of the watches will commence in July 2025.

Design & Craftsmanship
The watch features a 40mm 316L stainless steel case, finished with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. Its unidirectional rotating bezel includes a sapphire insert filled with SuperLuminova (BGW9), enhancing both functionality and vintage charm. A boxed sapphire crystal with triple-layer internal anti-reflective coating ensures legibility from any angle.
At the heart of the collaboration lies the CNC guilloché mother-of-pearl dial — an exceptional execution of Selten’s craftsmanship. Paired with polished indices and hands filled with SuperLuminova, the dial dances with light while remaining highly legible in low light conditions.
MicroSliders
A butterfly clasp with micro adjustment system on both sides of the bracelets. We might be wrong but we have not seen anything like this before. Butterfly clasp is a preferred choice for this integrated style bracelets as it minimizes the bulge and large dimension often seen on a standard deployant clasp but it is also constraining as micro adjustment was not an option, till now, with the MicroSliders, as we call it.
It is a simple concept of incorporating an additional link at the end of each side of the bracelet that can be adjusted in either half or full length by way of pressing and sliding a spring-loaded bar that is attached to that last link. It can even be done on the fly for added convenience.
A Perfect Match
Nemo’s iconic markers meet Selten’s luscious teal wave-patterned dial — a signature in motion. When the two come together, they dance in perfect synchronicity.
