PILGRIM

Horizon compressor diver

Vintage-inspired with a twist #1

Fred Bekher treats a watch like a labyrinth full of hidden clues, like what we witnessed in the first series, the Nautilus. It continues here with the second series. Just a tiny clue for now, and in French.

Vintage-inspired with a twist #2

Run your fingers through the case, you will get a sense of multi-plain and multi-level surfaces. This is accentuated by the two-module case construction, a rarity. Still very much true to the design silhouette of early day super compressors but more. A watch sculpture, probably that’s the best description for it.

Vintage-inspired with a twist #3

Marking the 12, 3, 6, and 9 with a triangle frame was a usual sight seen on the early super compressor. Why not a trapezium, Fred questioned. To twist it even further, make one of them a date window. Super unusual super compressor. Find the secret date window!

Vintage-inspired with a twist #4

Centre of the dial for the Pilgrim has a finely polished finished raised cone that provides the base for the three uniquely designed hands for the time reading. In line with the sea adventure story that inspired the collection, they are shaped like the fishing spears. For superior legibility, all three hands are luminous.
